All eyes are on Luka Doncic in this match-up as he makes his return to face the franchise that traded for his draft rights back in 2018. Betting on the Lakers here as they play their 2nd game in two nights, following a grueling duel with the best team in the Western Conference won’t be ideal, but the oddsmakers still fancy the road team here as they have them as 5.5 point favorites. There won’t be a lack of motivation on the Mavs part either to win this game, especially for Anthony Davis who is looking to stick it to the team that traded him away earlier in the year. AD’s play has picked up over the past couple of weeks as he recovers from his injury, the Lakers front line is the team’s Achilles heel and we are looking forward to seeing AD use all of his tricks against his former teammates here. LA would be wise to pick up the tempo as they simply don’t have the personnel to deal with a player like Anthony Davis down low.
