Indiana Pacers vs Milwaukee Bucks: Current situation
Indiana had a lot of momentum going prior to the baseball series against the Atlanta Hawks, which they lost 2-0 in close fashion. Without Haliburton this just isn’t the same team, and now with a 35-27 record they are hanging on to the 5th seed by a thread as the Detroit Pistons are just a half game back in 6th.
Unlike the Pacers, Milwaukee has a pretty clean slate when it comes to injuries, however they are still not over the loss of Bobby Portis who was suspended for 25 games after violating the NBA’s anti-drug policy. Without him the Bucks depth has taken a major hit, the likes of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard are forced to work more which could come back to haunt them further down the road in the postseason.
Indiana Pacers Stats & Form
For the 2nd straight games the Pacers scored 118 points and lost to the Atlanta Hawks. Bennedict Mathurin did his best to help out in the absence of Haliburton by scoring 30 points off the bench, but the defense just wasn’t the same. Atlanta put past Indy 120+ points for the 2nd game in a row, that is concerning ahead of a game against a Milwaukee Bucks team that is a far greater threat offensively.
Milwaukee Bucks Stats & Form
It’s not often we get to see the Bucks lose back-to-back home games, but that’s exactly what happened over the weekend as both the Cavaliers and Magic took them down. It wasn’t because of Giannis Antetokounmpo though, the Greek Freak did his part with 67 points and 20 rebounds combined, the issue for Milwaukee is that they just aren’t deep enough with Portis missing from the line-up. Now the Bucks hit the road where they are just 13-18 ATS for the season.
Indiana Pacers vs Milwaukee Bucks: Head-to-Head
Although Milwaukee has won both meetings so far this season, it is the Pacers who still have the edge in head-to-head meetings over the last 10 games, winning 6 of them. There’s been no shortage of scoring in those games with an average of 232.4 points per game scored and the over going 7-3. After Tuesday’s game the two teams will lock horns one more time this season, just 4 days later in Milwaukee.

Betting tip and prediction: Indiana Pacers vs Milwaukee Bucks (11.03.2025)
Both teams had a weekend to forget as they lost back-to-back games, which only adds to the importance of Tuesday’s meeting. This will be the 3rd time the two teams will face each other, the Bucks are up 2-0 in the regular season series after a pair of high scoring wins back in November and December. However, things could be different this time around as they are without a very important role player in Bobby Portis who is still out serving his suspension. In order to beat Indiana you have to be on top of your scoring game, and hope Tyrese Haliburton has a bad game. Speaking of Haliburton, he has missed the last 2 games and as a result the Pacers dwindled against the Atlanta Hawks losing both games. It goes without saying that he makes this team go up a few levels on both ends of the floor when he is present, over his last 8 games he’s averaging 23.4 points and 11.4 assists per game on 57% from the field and 54% from three. Damian Lillard is no match for him defensively, Haliburton just towers over him with his 6-foot-5 frame. This is one of the games where we will see just how much the Bucks miss Portis. Milwaukee’s dreadful three-point shooting over the past 2 games has seen them connect on just 9 and 11 shots from deep. That’s just not going to cut it against the Pacers here, let’s back the home team to cover.
