It’s a busy week of action in the Premier League with a full schedule of games taking place over Tuesday and Wednesday. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City are all in action on Wednesday night in what promises to be an entertaining evening of football. In this article I will be taking a look at four of Wednesday’s matches and building you a 4-fold bet to take advantage of.
Chelsea v Swansea City
Chelsea picked up a point at Anfield on Saturday evening after a late goal from substitute Willian saw them share the spoils with Liverpool during a 1-1 draw. Eden Hazard was again the standout player for Antonio Conte’s side on a day where they never really got going offensively. They will be confident of beating 19th placed Swansea City on Wednesday though, with the Welsh side having lost four of their last five games. Chelsea should win this one comfortably and I’m backing them to do just that.

Stoke City v Liverpool
Liverpool will have been disappointed to have drawn with Chelsea on Saturday considering how close they got to the win. Mohamed Salah scored again in that game to take his tally to the season for 15 and he currently leads the way in the Premier League scoring charts. On Wednesday night, Liverpool head to Stoke City to take on a side who have won just one of their last five games. Stoke were poor on Saturday, going down 2-1 to the bottom club Crystal Palace and Mark Hughes will be asking for much more from his players on Wednesday. Stoke have been good in the big games this season, beating Arsenal and holding Manchester United to a draw, but I fancy Liverpool to win this one.

Everton v West Ham United
Everton turned in another dismal performance on Sunday against Southampton, losing 4-1 at St. Mary’s Stadium. David Unsworth is certainly not convincing the powers that be that he is the right man for the job, but he will have a chance to pick up a victory against fellow strugglers West Ham United on Wednesday. David Moyes picked up a point against Leicester City on Friday night and this game could go either way really between two fairly terrible teams. I’m backing it to end as a draw; a result which will do little for either side.

Manchester City v Southampton
Manchester City were made to work for their 2-1 win against Huddersfield Town on Sunday and it took a lucky late goal from Raheem Sterling to give Pep Guardiola’s side all three points. Southampton will come into this one full of confidence after routing Everton 4-1 on Sunday. Charlie Austin scored twice in the game before limping off and he will be a doubt ahead of this game. Manchester City have been superb at the Etihad this season and I’m backing them to win this one comfortably.
